Quality Standards
At EGEXO, quality starts with Egyptian loofah from our own farms and partner farms in the Nile Delta. Every order is checked by hand for quality, size and dryness before packing.
Our Quality Commitment
EGEXO is an Egyptian natural loofah manufacturer and exporter since 2015, with more than 400 customers in more than 40 countries. We work under an ISO 9001 certified quality management system, and we also hold ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 22716 certificates.
Soft Egyptian Loofah
Our loofah comes from our own farms and partner farms in the Nile Delta. Egyptian loofah has a loose, soft fibre that is gentle from the first use.
Our Own Factory
We make every product in our own factory in Egypt. All fabric parts, such as towel backings, edges, ropes and straps, are 100% cotton.
Checked by Hand
Every order is checked by hand before packing: a visual check for colour, holes and defects, a size check, and a dryness check.
Sustainable Practices
Loofah is a plant fibre and is 100% biodegradable. Our environmental management system is certified to ISO 14001.
Manufacturing Process
These are the main steps from the farm to the carton.

Growing & Harvesting
Loofah is grown on our own farms and partner farms in the Nile Delta and harvested when the fruit is fully mature.

Initial Processing
Seeds and outer skin are removed while keeping the natural fibre structure.

Cleaning & Drying
The fibre is cleaned and dried, by sun drying and machine drying. Our standard loofah is not bleached; bleaching is done only on request.

Cutting & Shaping
The loofah is cut to the size and shape of each product, or to the customer’s specification for custom orders.

Quality Check by Hand
Every order is checked by hand: a visual check (colour, holes, defects), a size check and a dryness check.

Packing & Shipping
Products are packed in cartons.
What We Check on Every Order
We do not use grade labels. Instead, we check every order by hand before it is packed.
Visual Check
We look at the colour and check each piece for holes and defects.
Size Check
Pieces are sorted and measured to the size of each product.
Dryness Check
We check that the loofah is fully dry before packing.
Samples First
Standard samples ship within 2 days, custom samples within a week, so you can check the quality yourself before you order.
