Our story
EGEXO started in 2015 with one idea: bring the world the loofah that Egyptian families have grown in the Nile Delta for generations, with the reliability a modern wholesale buyer needs. We began with local farmers in the Delta and shipped our first export orders to Europe and North America in 2016.
Today, EGEXO supplies loofah wholesale to buyers in more than 40 countries. We also make private label loofah for brands that sell under their own name.

From Nile Delta farm to your warehouse
Growing
partner farms in the Nile Delta grow Luffa aegyptiaca in rich alluvial soil and a long warm season.
Harvesting
each gourd is picked when the fibers are fully mature, the point at which they’re strongest.
Processing
peeling, cleaning, sun-drying, then cutting into pads, rings and other shapes. No harsh chemicals.

Egyptian loofah is known for dense, even fibers. The Nile Delta’s soil and climate give the plant a long growing season, so the sponge holds its shape, lasts longer and exfoliates evenly.
